Hardwired Intruder Alarm Kits - What are the advantages of a hardwired alarm system? Ask many professional installers and the answer is RELIABILITY! Wireless systems although they have improved over the years they still have some shortfalls, regularly replacing batteries in the detectors and bell boxes, problems with wireless range and they are much more expensive and have higher replacement and maintenance costs than wired.
